A Big Mac is Tougher than Molten Copper

A YouTube user, “Tito4re” doused a Big Mac with molten copper, somewhat proving rumors about McDonald’s food, and how it might not be “entirely natural.”

The Big Mac fared surprisingly well when it was doused with the molten metal, even at nearly 2,000 degrees Fahrenheit.

In the most telling part of the video, the hot metal skims off the top of the chemically enhanced bun like water off a spoon. Eventually, the bun gives in, but if it takes more than a minute to kill this “bread” with hot copper, how long does it take our stomachs?

The burger itself also put up a fight, but eventually blackens. Still, it remained nearly edible for half of the 3+ minute video.

Tito4re has poured molten copper on a wide range of items, but few have fared as well as the Big Mac. Indestructible food. We’re lovin’ it.
